Love inside the Pandora’s Box

You are the blue moon in my dark sky,
emerging once in a while,
preferring to vanish into thin air
without saying goodbye.

Your eyes are as white as snow,
and when you smile,
I see a cheerful glow,
revitalizing a distressed life
without going under the knife.

You liberated my mind from solitude
with your enchanted voice,
which was nothing short of
a symphonic interlude.

As I wake inside a lonely house
with no roof over my head,
I see the stars burning my skies—
they caused less havoc
than my infamous lies.

Along with broken window panes,
grains of hope are all that remain.
Age withered like the leaves in autumn.

I was robbed of your memories by time,
which behaved like a
renowned thief.

All these years,
everything was falling apart.
My future dreams were on the rocks—
it got worse when I searched for
a genie inside Pandora’s box.
